"For someone who can't sleep and wants to sort out their sleep difficulty once and for all, THIS is the way to go. Once you understand what you need to do in order to sleep well... everything changes."
Shelagh – Policy Planner

For this reason I have created Storytime which is a bedtime story for adults and children.

By focusing your mind on listening to my voice instead of listening to your own worried thoughts enables your brain waves to slow down so that you can drift into a sleep.  Like anything the more you practice the better you get - so too with sleep. The more you listen to Storytime and slow down and calm your mind the deeper and more restorative your sleep will become.  We were all born with this ability to sleep - it's just that sometimes we forget.

Thumbs Up!

Again and again people tell me how good it is to experience this wonderful feeling of waking up after a good night's sleep.

Problems with sleep are so often a symptom of something else

Get to the root of why you don't sleep well

When people don’t get enough sleep — either enough quality or quantity of sleep — most people look for an answer to their sleeping problem in the form of a pill or potion. In the same way as a nasty headaches they look for a magic wand to get rid of the problem.

This is totally understandable.

However, what if not sleeping well is actually a symptom?

What if  inside every symptom is a message or even a gift that your body is trying to make you aware of?

By getting rid of the symptom, you miss out on that!

It is rather like a red light that comes on in a car.

The red light is a message for you to stop and give the car some attention.

It is also a gift, for if your car didn't warn you with a red light, it might break down - often in the most inconvenient place.  So the red light gives you a chance to sort out the problem and prevent the disaster.

You are given an opportunity to prevent a breakdown by attending to the problem.

Of course when you see the red light, you don't get rid of it by pulling out the light, or covering it up with some tape!

You find out what the problem is and get it fixed.

... the same with poor sleep.

When we have a problem with sleep it is an indication that we need to stop and to discover what the cause is.

Insomnia is an opportunity to go deeper

When children aren't sleeping well, you would want to know if anything is troubling them.

question mark
  • Are they upset about something?

  •  Are they getting bullied at school?

  •  Are they eating too much sugar and are too revved up when they go to bed?

So what about you?  Isn't it time that you let someone help you to sort out your sleep problems once and for all.

I would love you to join me on this journey to good sleep, guided by me — a medical doctor with an integrative focus — so that you too can put bad sleep behind you once and for all.
